Serious red wine with a good price/quality ratio!
The wine company Alpha Estate, located in Amyndeon, in the northwestern part of Greece, was founded in the year 1997. The winegrower Makis Mavridis and the experienced oenologist Angelos Iatridis founded this company after gaining many years of experience in wine production. They quickly saw the potential of the Amyndeon region. The vineyards are located at an altitude of about 620 to 710 meters above sea level. The plateaus where the vineyard is located are blessed with good rainfall, dry summers and semi-continental climatic conditions. All these wines are made with ultimate respect for nature.
AXIA has won several awards:
90 points. Robert Parker. The Wine Advocate
16.5 points. Jancis Robinson
Gold Medal – Mundus Vini
