Description
Amarone Case Vecie has a deep ruby red color. Very ripe, almost toasty aromas on the nose of dried cranberry, kirsch, brown herbs, figs soaked in sugar syrup and botanical herbs. Then fresher and soft, with a pure and precise taste of cinnamon, pepper, tobacco and dried flowers. Ends long, soft and spicy with young, chewy but polished tannins. Case Vecie impresses with its seamless personality and exceptional overall balance.
Amarone Case Vecie takes its name from the 10 ha vineyard of the same name in Grezzana - Valpantena. It is a unique vineyard, 450 meters above sea level, with a perfect south / east exposure. These special climatic conditions allow the grapes to undergo slow and constant ripening even during the most difficult years. Due to the late harvest period, the grapes can rest in a colder period of the year, so that the grape bunches undergo a slower and longer drying process. In this phase, the grapes will develop the aromas that will later give the wine its characteristics. Amarone Case Vecie is designed to enhance the natural characteristics of a vineyard in a cold climate, which remain unaltered thanks to the low temperature drying process to preserve these characteristics.
