lassic Pomerol with a lot of accompanying strength and thickness. The scent is elegant and complex with scents of ripe black fruit, cherries, spices and cocoa. Full and soft mouthfeel due to the ripe and fine tannin. Ripe dark fruit in the taste, slightly spicy and a hint of cedar wood and vanilla.
Clos Beauregard is located within the municipal boundaries of the famous village of Pomerol. The small domain covers 6 hectares where mainly Merlot is planted. Until 1930, this domain belonged to the Chateau Beauregard of the same name. Now they make their own wine, which is obtained from more than 40 year old vines. After harvesting, the juice is fermented in temperature-regulated barrels and then matured in new oak. Since 2011, Clos Beauregard has been under the supervision of perhaps the most famous winemaker from France, Michel Roland, who also works at famous Chateaus such as Pape Clément and Leoville Poyferré.
