Château de la Galinière Provence Rosé 2024 is an elegant rosé from the Côtes de Provence AOC, one of the most renowned rosé wine regions in the world. This winery, located east of Aix-en-Provence, in the village of Châteauneuf-le-Rouge, on the Cengle plateau, at the foot of the Montagne Sainte-Victoire. The house is known for its organic wines that perfectly reflect the freshness and finesse of the region.
Château de la Galinière is located at an altitude of between 230 and 257 meters above sea level. It is planted on a clay and sandy soil with bauxite that gives the soil a red color.
The Corniche of the Cengle and the slopes over which it overhangs protect the estate from the north wind and the two hills in front of the slope limit the attack of the Mistral and the winds from the east. Open to the south, the estate enjoys winter sun and mild temperatures.
The grape varieties on the estate are Cabernet-Sauvignon, Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah, Vermentino and Viognier.
The harvest takes place at night to take advantage of the cool temperatures. After a short skin maceration, the wine ferments in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Fermentation takes place at 14°C to retain as many fresh fruit aromas as possible. After fermentation, the wine matures for three months in stainless steel.
