Pierre Gaillard is one of the most acclaimed producers from the Côtes du Rhône. He believes like no other in the power of terroir. Whether it concerns his own wines or projects such as 'Les Vins de Vienne', which he runs together with his old friends Yves Cuilleron and François Villard, the terroir is always the determining factor in his wines.
For this reason he also felt the urge to acquire vineyards in the Collioure in the far south of France. Here he and his daughter Élise make very tasty, powerful, characteristic white and red Collioures and beautiful Banyuls.
The approximately 30 hectare domain, of which only roughly half is planted with grape vines, is located at an altitude of approximately 400 meters and therefore, together with the proximity to the Mediterranean Sea, has a very special microclimate.
