"Classy" Chardonnay with wafer-thin minerality and pure as crystal. Something subdued and refined. In the mouth a core of citrus with layers of ripe apple, pear and delicate tropical notes. Intense yet delicate until the finish. The cool coastal breezes blowing over the Atlantic Ocean temper the ripening process, extend the growing season and produce expressive wines with more precise varietal characters and greater purity. Made by a passionate team led by winemaker Nadia Barnard, from Waterkloof Vineyards who clearly gives her signature here. Serve it with grilled tiger prawns or a delicious piece of salmon.
