Complex sparkling Italian wine and indeed “very close to Champagne”. Bone dry, but with beautiful ripe fruit and complexity due to long yeast maturation. Delicious mineral style. Read more
“Trentino DOC never disappoints. It is undoubtedly one of the top three regions in the world for sparkling wine production” says Tom Stevenson, Master of Wine. And that is where this Rotari Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut comes from. Produced according to the strict rules of the "Metodo Classico". Clear extra brut style, bone dry and with elegant, smooth and persistent mousse, light yellow in color with very delicate hints of straw. The bouquet has an intense and elegant variety of notes of ripe fruit, such as apples and pineapple. Aromas of freshly baked bread from the long yeast maturation of 48 months in the bottle complement the wine here. The taste is intense, fragrant and well balanced with a dry and mineral style. Long and persistent finish of dried fruit and hazelnuts. Trentino, together with Franciacorta, makes the best sparkling wines of Italy.
This complex wine goes well with the best Italian and international cuisine. Especially with raw and marinated scampi and oysters. Fantastic with grilled lobster. Ideal party aperitif
