Arinto is a popular grape and is widely grown in Portugal. The strange thing is that you almost never come across it as a single variety. For the Bucelas region (Lisboa) this is not so strange because Arinto originates from here. It is a grape that ripens quite late, but has a lot of freshness. This freshness is further enhanced here by the limestone soil.
The citrus fruit is therefore the dominant tone in this wine, but thanks to the batonnage the wine gets a rounder mouthfeel. The citrus is complemented by white fruit, florality and a bit of spiciness. Excellent with your fruit des mers, salads and white fish.
