Domaine Astruc, acquired by Jean-Claude Mas in 2002, is now an established name among wine lovers. Situated in Limoux, the winery benefits from both Atlantic influences and the Pyrenees. Limoux is also the area where, according to modern history books, the first sparkling wine in France was made.
Originating from various vineyards around Limoux in the Languedoc. A Mediterranean climate prevails here, but the Atlantic Ocean provides the necessary cooling.
The grapes are fermented separately at a controlled temperature of 16 degrees. This ensures that the wine retains its fruit, flavour concentration and softness.
