In the heart of the Langhe lie the beautiful, steep vineyards of Marco Porello. There Marco makes a very wide range of wines, from Moscato to Nebbiolo, and from Barbera to Arneis. Finally, he has a small vineyard with the Vermentino grape variety, which goes by the name Favorita in Piedmont. All wines that typify the diversity of Piedmont and are very representative of what the area has to offer.
Comes from vineyards around the municipality of Calosso. The soil consists of clay and lime. The grapes are picked by hand.
After harvest, the grapes undergo a skin maceration of four to five days at 10 degrees and are pressed. Then the alcoholic fermentation begins, which lasts 14 days at a temperature of 15 degrees. The end result is a wine with 130-140 grams of residual sugar per liter and an alcohol percentage of 5%.
