A fine characterful Pinot Noir, warm and medium-bodied, with a nice acidity. Cool nights but long warm days allow the summer red fruit to retain all its freshness, but develop intensity and complexity in its flavour. The dark cherry fruit is juicy, ripe and progressive, with a tangy taste in the middle. It's the best of both worlds. The concentration of fruit in combination with a long maturation, partly in oak barrels, gives it the typical Burgundy elegance, silkiness and a touch of earthy tannins. A drinkable wine, with excellent value for money and a smooth companion for food.
Lenné Pinot Noir 2020 is the brainchild of Sumi Gebauer and her husband Patrick. This wine couple got to know each other at a renowned wine company and sparks flew. Now they sign together for high-profile wines, the first we introduce to you is the delicious Pinot Noir. The excellent 2020 harvest will be bottled in mid-November and we will then collect the wine directly in Germany.
