Torrazzo has a bright ruby red color. On the nose, an olfactory sensation, subtle but strong, which opens at first sight with the aromatic scents of undergrowth and then changes to cherry scents that swirl through the glass; good clean fragrance in which the integrity of the grapes make the wine. On the palate, the taste is aggressively pleasant, but packed in a complex and unexpected fruitiness, which is not quite ripe plums, cherries and bitter raspberries. The acidity provides a fresh taste and reduces the heat of the fruit that makes up this product. This wine goes well with both cold and warm dishes, for every meal or as an everyday wine. It is an ideal companion for pizzas, sandwiches, charcuterie and cheese. It is considered an excellent wine to enjoy young and is also ideal as an aperitif.
The Gropello and Marzemino grapes come from the moraine hills near Lake Garda, where they enjoy ideal lighting and constant ventilation that ensures perfect ripeness. After the harvest, the wine undergoes a maceration on the skin for a short period, which makes it velvety soft, medium tannic and very elegant. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks for 6 months, after which it rests in the bottle for 3 months.
