Cala 2 has an attractive cherry purple hue with blue reflections and good intensity. In the fragrance it is expressive and well defined with tertiary aromas of tobacco, cinnamon and chocolate, fruity with aromas of candied strawberries and dried cherries in the aftertaste a nice spiciness of liquorice, cloves and balsamic. On the palate it is balanced and fresh, with a good concentration and acidity, fresh tannins, red fruit and a tertiary finish.
The Tinedo estate is ideal for practicing sustainable viticulture, excluding the use of herbicides and synthetic products. The goal is to get balanced and complex wines through a vineyard that completes its biological cycle.
The work in the fields and the domain is shared by people who are thoroughly involved and fully aware of the importance of a common work from the vineyard to the wine. A strict control of the water content of the vineyard, both at soil and leaf level, accompanies the field work and allows the entire maturing process to be completed at a slow pace.
