Quinta do Regueiro from the subregion Monção e Melgaço is a typical Vinho Verde and embodies 21st century Portugal.Winemaker Paolo Rodriquez works with regional grapes, but not with guidance along pergolas. The vines are planted in regular rows and are guided along a wire.This produces optimally ripe grapes that give the wines a special power and a lot of character.The vineyards of the Quinta are on slopes with a surface of weathered granite that retains heat well.Its location is south, so that they can take full advantage of the solar heat.
